Coalition Agency act as live booking agent for Dermot O’Leary.
Dermot O’Leary’s television and radio work has made him a household name. Dermot started his career on T4 for Channel 4, and went on to present and produce Big Brother’s Little Brother. In 2007 Dermot landed the coveted role of hosting ITV 1’s The X Factor and presented eight concurrent series, deftly holding the judges to account on a weekly basis.
Dermot has also chaired the debate, and interviewed party leaders, for First Time Voters Question Time on BBC3, he regularly presents Unicef’s SoccerAid, and is also the host of the National Television Awards. This is all alongside hosting his own multi award-winning BBC Radio 2 show every Saturday (winner of three Sony Radio Awards), known for its solid support of new and emerging bands, many of whom get their big break on the show.
In 2014 Dermot hosted the ground-breaking ‘Live from Space’ season on Channel 4, which culminated in a major interactive TV event featuring a live two-hour broadcast from the International Space Station (ISS) and Mission Control in Houston as the ISS completed an entire orbit of the Earth. Later that year, Dermot’s first book The Soundtrack to My Life, a musical memoir, was published by Hodder, and will be out in paperback later this year.
Dermot has a passion for music, especially indie and rock, and has DJ’d at Glastonbury, Latitude and Goodwood over the last few years.
He is now the host of the breakfast show on Radio 2 every Saturday from 8-10am.
